Technical Details and APIs
Interfaces (APIs)
It is possible to link external data sources, in particular, address databases, content, analytical data marts, or campaign management systems via defined ELAINE interfacees (ELAINE APIs). The ELAINE APIs serves as an interface between data or actions of the ELAINE system and external applications and can be used for the synchronisation of address databases.
Security
ELAINE is designed for minimally invasive operation in a data centre structure. Administration and recipient interfaces are provided via standard web servers (e.g. Apache). The core functions of ELAINE, especially the sending, are carried out by separate processes. The backend is a MySQL database; the sending of mails takes place by means of any existing outbox servers (SMTP).
ELAINE is prepared for the operation in certified IT centres.
