Sending and Performance
Send Performance of Personalised Mails
ELAINE sends mailings through a configurable number of parallel send processes (workers), which autonomously provide an optimal load distribution and smooth sending. The send performance of ELAINE depends on the number of deployed sending processes, as well as the type and number of the deployed mail servers. As a general rule for the processing of mails to be sent, the following applies: two workers per CPU, 30 thousand mails per hour per worker. A current quad-corfe PC server hardware with standard MTA can therefore send app. 240 thousand mails per hour.
Mail Process Management
ELAINE offers a client-sided send control with display of the sending progress and the option to stop, abort, continue or prioritise the individual send processes.
Schedule Function
The send process in ELAINE is individually configurable and can take place either immediately (i.e. as soon as possible) or it can be scheduled.
Bounce Management
ELAINE makes use of a freely definable bounce management based on a point system for the assessment of permanent and temporary bounces (hard and soft bounces). Bounce addresses are automatically recognised and depending on the rating, they are automatically and verifiably rejected. Bounce items are part of the implicit profile creation and a selectable criterion for the formation of target groups. ELAINE statistically analyses bounce data for each recipient group or mailing.
