ELAINE Mail Creation
ELAINE allows the use of freely definable mailings based on HTML or text. These articles can be administrated in individual categories and sorted according to any criteria. Mailings can be composed optionally through the import of HTML templates, through the linking of external sources such as content management systems or through the integrated WYSIWYG editor. The latter can be used either as an independent HTML editor or an editing mask for predefined templates. Any content element and format is possible, in particular, elements from Microsoft Office applications such as Word, which can be inserted via drag & drop. The source text is changed to valid XHTML or HTML 4.1. Mailings can be displayed throughout all editorial stages in a preview.
Personalising can be checked with any subscriber profile.
ELAINE WYSIWYG Editor
The integrated WYSIWYG editor allows full editing of rich text (HTML) elements, as well as plain text. Included are formatting, tables and the upload of pictures. The editor can optionally be used as an independent HTML editor or as an editing mask for predefined templates. Any web-compatible content elements and formats can be used, e.g. elements from Microsoft Office applications, such as Word may be inserted via drag & drop. Within the editor, you can edit and configure links. In addition to trackable links to external websites, this feature also includes subscribe and unsubscribe links, trigger links (script links), as well as links to a personalised online view of the mailing and internal landing pages.
Content Import
Prepared mailings can be directly imported into ELAINE. Existing links can automatically be converted to trackable links if required. All ELAINE personalisation and individualisation features can be externally created and can therefore be imported as a complete mailing. Existing RSS feeds can be imported as content channels in order to be processed for further use. In addition, ELAINE can be entirely automated for easy use as an expansion of features (publication of content as a newsletter) of an existing website CMS.
ELAINE One Click Mail Generator
The unique One-click Mail Generator (OCMG) feature of ELAINE enables the implementation of highly specialised input views (editing interfaces) into simple central templates. In this way, it is possible to realise complete newsletter workflows in one single input mask (one click). The interface can be reduced to the most important entries for a specific mailing, in order to significantly simplify its creation or editing by untrained users.
Levels of Control (Approval Lists)
In the context of the mailing workflow, approval lists can be targeted in order to check the technical functionality of the mailing before its release. Individual emails can be created with freely definable profile attributes for control by the editor. When using the ASP service, the mailing can be previewed in different email and Freemail clients.
Spam Check
To protect the recipient from accidentally blocked emails, ELAINE offers an integrated false-positive analysis, which checks the probability of an accidental rejection by means of typical anti-spam filter criteria and provides details of the causes.
Landing Pages
ELAINE offers the creation and management of landing pages. Target pages for links can therefore directly be imported into ELAINE or created on a template base for further editing with the ELAINE WYSIWYG editor. Access to landing pages, as well as clicks and conversions are trackable and can be evaluated via the ELAINE statistic views.
Authorisations and Workflow
The editorial workflow in ELAINE allows the exact allocation of rights-based roles, amongst them the function of release of mailings prior to sending.
Supported Character Sets
ELAINE is designed for the sending of mailings in any language and the administration of subscriber data in any language. All data is stored in the international valid Unicode format. During send out preparation ELAINE automatically converts this data in any country-specific character set.
